Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is difficult produced by some guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a member of family, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything however the lyrics of that song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, could be the Lyric Prank.





A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is some texting sent using words from a certain song to a certain person. The prank is mostly to troll the mark or to get them super confused.
