Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is a challenge produced by a guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a partner or a family member, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to use anything but the lyrics of that song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from a certain song to a certain person. The prank is mainly to troll the mark or to have them super confused.
