Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is challenging created by a man called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a companion or a member of family, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to utilize anything but the lyrics of the song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
