Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is challenging produced by a guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a companion or a family member, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to use anything but the lyrics of that song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :
You: You gotta go and get angry at every one of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, could be the Lyric Prank.
A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” await their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is some texting sent using words from a certain song to a certain person. The prank is mainly to troll the goal or to get them super confused.

A lyric prank is when you're texting someone the lyrics of a tune and they don't really it. Example:
