Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge produced by a man called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a companion or a family member, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything but the lyrics of that song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :
You: You gotta go and get angry at each of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, could be the Lyric Prank.
A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is some texting sent using words from the certain song to a particular person. The prank is mainly to troll the target or to get them super confused.
