Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is difficult developed by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a family member, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to make use of anything however the lyrics of that song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, could be the Lyric Prank.





A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is some texting sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mostly to troll the mark or to get them super confused.
