Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge produced by a guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a companion or a relative, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to utilize anything but the lyrics of that song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” watch for their response.
