Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a partner or a relative, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to make use of anything however the lyrics of the song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at every one of my honesty
Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption

You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from a certain song to a particular person. The prank is mostly to troll the prospective or to get them super confused.
