Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by some guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a family member, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to use anything however the lyrics of that song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at each of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from the certain song to a particular person. The prank is mainly to troll the target or to have them super confused.
