Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is challenging produced by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a partner or a family member, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to utilize anything but the lyrics of that song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is some texting sent using words from the certain song to a specific person. The prank is mainly to troll the mark or to get them super confused.
