Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is challenging created by a guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a member of family, depending on what the song is) song lyric.

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” await their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
