Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is difficult developed by a guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a relative, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything nevertheless the lyrics of the song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
