Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is challenging produced by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a man or a relative, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to make use of anything but the lyrics of this song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :
You: You gotta go and get angry at every one of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, may be the Lyric Prank.
A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from the certain song to a particular person. The prank is mainly to troll the goal or to get them super confused.

A lyric prank is if you are texting someone the lyrics of a tune and they do not it. Example:
John: It's been a long day, without you my friend.
Jane: I understand right. I haven't seen you all day!
John: And I'll inform you about it when I see you again.
Jane: Why don't you tell me today?
John: We've come quite a distance from where we began
Jane: WAIT!! You remember once we met? In 2nd grade!!
John: Oh I'll let you know exactly about it when I help you again.
Jane: Why can't you simply tell me now!!?
John: When I help you again.
Jane: Oh!! You want to make it special!! When I help you again we shall talk.
