Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is challenging produced by a guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a partner or a relative, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to use anything but the lyrics of the song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mainly to troll the mark or to obtain them super confused.
