Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is challenging created by some guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a companion or a member of family, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to utilize anything but the lyrics of this song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at each of my honesty
Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption

You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from the certain song to a particular person. The prank is mainly to troll the mark or to get them super confused.
