Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge produced by a guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a companion or a member of family, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to make use of anything but the lyrics of the song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is some text messages sent using words from a certain song to a particular person. The prank is mostly to troll the mark or to obtain them super confused.
