Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is difficult created by a man called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a companion or a family member, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to use anything but the lyrics of the song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?

Mom: you're still up for adoption

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from a certain song to a certain person. The prank is mainly to troll the mark or to have them super confused.
