Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by a man called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a relative, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to make use of anything but the lyrics of the song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :
You: You gotta go and get angry at each of my honesty
Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption

You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, is the Lyric Prank.
A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” await their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from a certain song to a particular person. The prank is mostly to troll the target or to obtain them super confused.

A lyric prank is if you are texting someone the lyrics of a tune and they do not it. Example:
