Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is a challenge produced by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a member of family, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything however the lyrics of this song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at every one of my honesty
Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mainly to troll the target or to get them super confused.
