Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge developed by a guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a relative, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to use anything but the lyrics of the song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, could be the Lyric Prank.





A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” await their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is some texts sent using words from the certain song to a particular person. The prank is mostly to troll the mark or to obtain them super confused.
