Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is difficult created by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a man or a family member, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything but the lyrics of the song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” await their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is some texts sent using words from the certain song to a particular person. The prank is mostly to troll the target or to obtain them super confused.
