Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is challenging produced by some guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a companion or a relative, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to use anything but the lyrics of this song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is some text messages sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mainly to troll the prospective or to get them super confused.
