Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is challenging produced by a guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a relative, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to use anything however the lyrics of that song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: I hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” await their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is some texting sent using words from the certain song to a certain person. The prank is mostly to troll the goal or to get them super confused.
