Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is challenging developed by a guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a partner or a family member, depending about what the song is) song lyric.

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” await their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - await a response.
