Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a partner or a family member, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything nevertheless the lyrics of that song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at most of my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from a certain song to a certain person. The prank is mostly to troll the mark or to have them super confused.
