You're banned to make use of anything but the lyrics of that song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” await their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
