Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is difficult developed by a man called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a family member, depending on what the song is) song lyric.

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” await their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
