Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is a challenge developed by a man called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a companion or a family member, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything but the lyrics of the song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” await their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is some texting sent using words from the certain song to a certain person. The prank is mainly to troll the mark or to have them super confused.
