Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge developed by a man called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a relative, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to make use of anything but the lyrics of that song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption

You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, could be the Lyric Prank.





A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” await their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from a certain song to a certain person. The prank is certainly caused by to troll the prospective or to have them super confused.
