Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is difficult developed by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a relative, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to use anything but the lyrics of that song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at every one of my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from the certain song to a particular person. The prank is mostly to troll the target or to have them super confused.

A lyric prank is if you are texting someone the lyrics of a song and they don't it. Example:
