Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is difficult developed by a man called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a partner or a family member, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to make use of anything but the lyrics of that song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :
You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, could be the Lyric Prank.
A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” await their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mainly to troll the prospective or to obtain them super confused.

John: This has been a long day, without you my friend.
Jane: I know right. I haven't seen you all day!
John: And I'll inform you about it when I see you again.
Jane: Why don't you tell me at this time?
John: We've come a long way from where we began
Jane: WAIT!! You remember when we met? In 2nd grade!!
John: Oh I'll let you know exactly about it when I help you again.
Jane: Why can't you only tell me now!!?
John: When I help you again.
Jane: Oh!! You want to ensure it is special!! When I help you again we will talk.
