Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is challenging developed by some guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a relative, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything but the lyrics of this song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :
You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, may be the Lyric Prank.
A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is some texting sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mainly to troll the goal or to obtain them super confused.

John: It's been a lengthy day, without you my friend.
Jane: I know right. I haven't seen you all day long!
John: And I'll let you know exactly about it when I help you again.
Jane: Why don't you tell me at this time?
John: We've come a considerable ways from where we began
Jane: WAIT!! You remember when we met? In 2nd grade!!
John: Oh I'll let you know about it when I see you again.
Jane: Why can't you just tell me now!!?

Jane: Oh!! You want to allow it to be special!! When I see you again we will talk.
