Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is challenging created by some guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a partner or a family member, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to make use of anything but the lyrics of this song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is some texts sent using words from the certain song to a specific person. The prank is mostly to troll the mark or to have them super confused.
