Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is challenging developed by a guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a member of family, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything however the lyrics of that song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, could be the Lyric Prank.





A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” await their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from the certain song to a certain person. The prank is mostly to troll the mark or to obtain them super confused.

A lyric prank is if you are texting someone the lyrics of a tune and they don't it. Example:
