Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by a guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a man or a family member, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to utilize anything but the lyrics of the song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, is the Lyric Prank.





A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mostly to troll the prospective or to get them super confused.
