Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is challenging developed by some guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a companion or a family member, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to utilize anything but the lyrics of this song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, could be the Lyric Prank.





A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” await their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mostly to troll the target or to obtain them super confused.
