Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by a guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a member of family, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything but the lyrics of the song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” await their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from a certain song to a particular person. The prank is mainly to troll the target or to get them super confused.
