Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge produced by a guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a companion or a relative, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything however the lyrics of that song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” await their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from a certain song to a particular person. The prank is mostly to troll the mark or to get them super confused.
