Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge produced by some guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a family member, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to make use of anything but the lyrics of that song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at most of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” await their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mainly to troll the mark or to have them super confused.
