Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is a challenge produced by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a companion or a relative, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to utilize anything but the lyrics of this song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song.
