Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is difficult developed by a guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a partner or a relative, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to use anything however the lyrics of that song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from the certain song to a specific person. The prank is mainly to troll the goal or to have them super confused.

A lyric prank is if you are texting someone the lyrics of a song and they don't it. Example:
