Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is challenging developed by some guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a family member, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to use anything but the lyrics of that song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, could be the Lyric Prank.





A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mainly to troll the prospective or to have them super confused.
