Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is challenging produced by some guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a companion or a member of family, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to use anything but the lyrics of the song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from a certain song to a certain person. The prank is mostly to troll the goal or to have them super confused.
