Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by some guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a family member, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to use anything but the lyrics of the song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at each of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from a certain song to a particular person. The prank is certainly caused by to troll the mark or to have them super confused.
