Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is a challenge produced by some guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a companion or a family member, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to use anything but the lyrics of that song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at each of my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mostly to troll the goal or to obtain them super confused.
