Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is challenging created by a man called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a relative, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to make use of anything however the lyrics of that song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: I am hoping I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mostly to troll the target or to get them super confused.
