Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is challenging developed by a man called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a man or a family member, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to utilize anything but the lyrics of the song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” await their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
