Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by a guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a man or a family member, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to make use of anything but the lyrics of the song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at every one of my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, could be the Lyric Prank.





A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from the certain song to a certain person. The prank is mainly to troll the prospective or to obtain them super confused.
