Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by a man called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a member of family, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to use anything but the lyrics of that song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” watch for their response.
