Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by a guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a companion or a family member, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to utilize anything but the lyrics of this song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from a certain song to a particular person. The prank is mainly to troll the prospective or to have them super confused.
